Behavior Consultants must meet the following requirements:

· Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age 

· Provide verification of identity and legal work status 

· Hold a Masters Degree in one of the following: 

    o Clinical Psychology 

    o Counseling Psychology 

    o School Psychology 

    o Applied Health Service Area 

        in Psychology 

    o Special Education 

    o Social Work 

    o Counseling 

· Provide official transcripts 

· Maintain current licensure or certification (if applicable) 

· Be free from citations 

   for malpractice or 

   unprofessional conduct and have 

   a clean background check

· Maintain valid liability insurance 

· Maintain a negative TB screening 

   or chest x-ray 

· Maintain current CPR and First 

    Aid certification 

· Maintain a valid driver’s license 

   have reliable transportation and 

    current of insurance 

· Complete a minimum of ten (10) 

   CEUs per calendar year 

Recreational therapist must meet the follow  requirements:

• Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age

• Provide verification of identity and legal work status

• Hold a Bachelors Degree in Recreational Therapy or related field 

• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) preferred or required 

• Provide official transcripts

• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) 

• Liability insurance (or willingness to obtain) 

• Negative TB test 

• Clean background check 

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
