Melody is a dedicated and compassionate Recreational Therapist who is passionate about helping individuals improve their quality of life through meaningful and engaging therapeutic experiences. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy from Indiana University and is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
Melody has extensive experience working with both children and adults with developmental disabilities, Autism, traumatic brain injuries, cerebral palsy, and individuals who are nonverbal. She is committed to creating individualized, person-centered recreational therapy sessions that promote independence, social engagement, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
Throughout her career, Melody has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings where she has completed assessments, developed treatment plans, implemented therapeutic interventions, and collaborated closely with interdisciplinary teams to support individuals in achieving their goals. She also has experience mentoring future recreational therapists and guiding them in applying therapeutic recreation principles in real-world settings.
At Xcepted Corporation, Melody is dedicated to building positive relationships with individuals and their support teams while creating meaningful opportunities for growth, community involvement, and success. Outside of work, Melody enjoys helping others, staying active, and spending time with her family.

Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy from Indiana University in 2022. During her time at Indiana University, she worked as a Direct Support Professional and as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), providing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services.
After becoming a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialis
Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy from Indiana University in 2022. During her time at Indiana University, she worked as a Direct Support Professional and as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), providing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services.
After becoming a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), Jessica worked at a residential behavioral health hospital serving adolescents. She has experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, those on the autism spectrum, and adolescents facing behavioral and mental health challenges.
Jessica is currently pursuing a Master of Social work with the goal of supporting and advocating for vulnerable communities.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and her cat, Kovu. Her hobbies include creating art, swimming, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
Jessica was excited to join Xcepted Corp in 2026 after returning to her hometown of Fort Wayne from Atlanta.
